Tooth Coloured Fillings

A composite or white (tooth coloured) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling.

Dental Crowns

Crowns are an ideal way to rebuild teeth which have been broken, or have been weakened by decay or a very large filling. The Crown fits right over the remaining part of the tooth, making it strong and giving it the shape and contour of a natural tooth. Crowns are sometimes also known as ‘caps’.

Dental Bridges

If you have a missing tooth and want to get an artificial replacement for it then bridges may be the right option for you. To assess your specific needs, we offer you a complimentary consultation to help you determine if bridges are a suitable option for you.

Dental Hygiene

Maintenance of healthy teeth, gums and fresh breath is simple if it is done regularly by using good home techniques and on average, six monthly visits to Frederick Street Dental Care. We can then identify any changes to your teeth or gums and pick up any potential concerns before they have a chance to develop.

Cosmetic Dentures

If you have lost either all or some of your teeth and need effective replacement with either full or partial dentures, Frederick Street Dental Care can provide you with superior quality dentures that look as natural and life like as possible. There is never any compromise, accurate measurements are taken to ensure  a superior fit and level of comfort.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment (RCT) is a dental procedure used to treat infection at the centre of a tooth (the root canal system) and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected.

Inlays / Onlays

Inlays or Onlays are indirect fillings made of porcelain that fit into or onto a tooth. Its purpose is to make the tooth stronger by reinforcing it, together while retaining a natural, aesthetically pleasing colour. They are used in instances when there is deficient tooth structure to support a filling but the tooth is still in a condition that does not require a crown.

Tooth Grinding

Bruxism or tooth grinding and clenching is a common problem that affects many of us at different stages throughout our lives. Bruxism is often stress related. Under certain circumstances alteration to the occlusion of the teeth (i.e. after a filling is placed) or after a traumatic injury to the temporomandibular joint (jaw joint or TMJ) can cause bruxism and lead to the classic signs and symptoms of this condition. In some cases the pain associated with Bruxism can be confused with wisdom tooth pain

Mouth Guards

These provide the greatest degree of protection for you or your family whenever you are training or playing sports such as football, rugby, boxing, martial arts, basketball, hockey, squash or soccer. Mouth guards can also be used for many other activities such as as horse-riding, skateboarding and trampolining.

Full Mouth Rehabilitation

Full mouth reconstruction, also known as Full Mouth Rehabilitation or full mouth restoration is a comprehensive form of dental treatment which could combine all dental specialties to reconstruct and restore all the damaged teeth in both upper and lower jaws.

Implants

Dental implants are a permanent tooth replacement method that closely resembles natural teeth. Not only is the top portion replaced but also the root that securely holds the tooth in place.

Tooth Extraction

A dental extraction (also referred to as tooth extraction, exodontia, exodontics, or informally, tooth pulling) is the removal of teeth from the dental alveolus (socket) in the alveolar bone in situations where a tooth is beyond saving.
